I had to break an arm and a leg just to get this out they way it SHOULD come out. The results of this little fiasco: 1) a new script system that screams FAWKBRAINLEZ to ensure the least amount of misunderstanding; 2) an appeal for more fonts, because the world needs more fonts; 3) a reshuffling of positions, because someone needs to be fired, and someone needs to be hired.
But it's worth it, I guess. For the megane-cons out there, Yuki shines in this chapter. Anal SFX girl with a dirty mouth? More SHOOP SHOOP please! Yes, because you know you like the SHOOP SHOOP, yes?

ReplyDeleteI know, right? :D TBH, the first time I saw it, I was like "wth are you saying??" up until the SHOOP SHOOP line. I felt it would be a shame not trying to keep in those SFX lines. :P
It seems the tankoboun version is out, it means better quality and no heavy censorship. If i may i'd like to ask if you're going to restart from chapter one with this improved version.

ReplyDeleteSorry, I only saw this comment, now. O_o Had I known, I would have done so with chapter 7 and 8 from the beginning.
Like what Tech said in a different comments thread, we are only doing this to supplement Phantom's releases. We aren't going to tank it... but that doesn't stop us from releasing 9-12 ahead of him. :P
That said, we won't be releasing any re-releases of the previous chapters (i.e. 1-6)... more so 1-4, because we never worked on those to begin with. If we do continue the tank, however, expect 9 onwards to have the updated, HQ scan.
